Northwestern Mutual Investment Management Company, LLC, headquartered in Milwaukee, WI, seeks a senior Leveraged Finance Research professional to conduct independent fundamental research and deliver forward‑looking relative value assessments aligned with portfolio strategy.

You will work closely with the Head of Leveraged Finance Research, Credit Research teams, PMs, and Traders, collaborating with Investment Strategy, Risk & Operations, Compliance, and Law.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, or a related field.
• Eight+ years in leveraged finance or fixed income with progressive responsibility.
• CFA designation or progress toward CFA preferred.
• Strong analytical and written/oral communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and develop peers while fostering collaboration and excellence.
• Monitor industry dynamics and develop expert views on profitability, cash flow, and external risks.
• Conduct thorough fundamental credit analysis of assigned issuers and assess quantitative and qualitative factors.
• Assess relative value across capital structures and against comparable issuers.
• Provide investment recommendations based on risk-adjusted returns, strategy, and relative value.
• Produce concise, decision-useful written research and communicate credit views to PMs and traders.
• Develop external relationships with Wall Street analysts, rating agencies, and management teams.
