TAR in Austin, Texas seeks a Real Estate Strategy & Acquisitions Lead to own TAR's land function end to end, from strategy to closing. You will pursue large acreage deals, craft creative structures, and build a dedicated land team while partnering with rural landowners and leadership to accelerate deployment.

The role requires an acquisitions mindset, experience with PE or infrastructure, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with AI-enabled outreach. Relocation may be included.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in real estate acquisitions, real estate private equity, infrastructure investing or land development
• Track record of large or complex transactions
• Strong underwriting and financial modeling
• Creative problem solving
• Clear, direct communication with rural landowners and leadership
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to work from Austin, Texas
• Fluency with AI and productivity tools

Responsabilidades

• Own TAR’s land strategy end to end: acres, timing, and price linked to deployment schedule
• Build and run a pipeline of large tracts (5,000+ acres) across West Texas and new regions
• Lead negotiations from first conversation through LOI/purchase agreement to close
• Design creative deal structures: options, phased takedowns, seller financing, JVs
• Underwrite deals on price, costs, schedule risk and project value
• Run diligence on title, survey, rights, easements, environmental aspects
• Hire and lead the land team and coordinators
• Replace legacy acquisition habits with data-driven and AI-assisted outreach
