Job summary

ClarityPay is seeking a Manager of IT & Information Security to build and run the technology backbone of a fast-growing fintech. This on-site role leads IT operations, IAM, endpoint and email security, incident response, and compliance with SOC 2 and PCI DSS while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

You will consolidate policies, manage vendor relationships, and scale the security program as the company grows in New York City andAtlanta operations, with four days/week in the NYC office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT operations, systems administration, and information security.
• Primary IT and security owner at a company, or senior IC on a small team.
• Hands-on expertise with identity and endpoint tooling: SSO/IdP, MFA, MDM, EDR.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration skills (Exchange, Entra ID, security/compliance).
• Practical experience supporting SOC 2 and PCI DSS audits.
• Fintech, banking, payments, or regulated environments preferred.
• Ability to work in early-stage or high-growth environments.
• Scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python) to reduce manual work.
• Comfort leveraging AI tools for productivity and decision-making.
• Based in NYC area; on-site four days a week; capable of coordinating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end IT operations: procurement, imaging, deployment, inventory, refresh, decommissioning for NY/Atlanta offices and remote staff.
• Manage identity and access: accounts provisioning, SSO/MFA, least-privilege, access reviews with evidence.
• Administer SaaS and business systems stack (Microsoft 365, email, Slack, HRIS, e-signature, productivity/AI tools).
• Create, secure, and manage corporate email, domains, and anti-phishing controls.
• Own endpoint security: MDM, disk encryption, patch management, EDR/AV, baselines.
• Run day-to-day help desk with SLAs; root-cause analysis of issues.
• Onboard/offboard employees from IT/security perspective; coordinate with People.
• Lead information security operations: monitoring, incident response, drills, post-incident reviews.
• Produce controls, evidence for SOC 2, PCI DSS, vendor/partner reviews; collaborate with Risk/Legal.
• Lead third-party/vendor security reviews and due diligence; maintain risk documentation.
• Develop IT/security policies/runbooks; deliver security awareness training.
• Manage office network infra and vendor relationships; budget planning and cost control.
• Build scalable IT/security roadmap; align controls with growth; enable AI adoption.
• Report IT/security posture to execs in clear terms; handle special projects.
