Position Overview:
Inversion Capital is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Head of Investor Relations to lead our capital-raising efforts for SPV private equity acquisitions. This individual will play a critical role in connecting top-tier investors across crypto, family offices, private equity, and venture capital with our deal pipeline and unique strategy which represents private equity exposure coupled with the asymmetric upside of crypto. .
The ideal candidate combines deep private capital markets fundraising experience with the ability to communicate complex investments with clarity and manage relationships with professionalism. The Head of Investor Relations will be the bridge between Inversion’s Investment Team, Investment Committee, and our growing base of investors, working closely with our CIO, helping us scale access to high-conviction transformations through Inversion’s active manager approach.
The Head of Investor Relations will report directly to the CEO and have scope to hire a team of 1-2 junior or mid-level reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SPV Fundraising Strategy: Own the end-to-end capital raise process for each SPV, including strategy, positioning, materials, LP targeting, and execution.
- Build Investor Relationships: Develop strong relationships with current and prospective investors across crypto-native funds, family offices, HNWIs, and institutional capital.
- Craft Clear, Compelling Communications: Work with our graphic design team to translate complex transactions into crisp, investor-ready materials like pitch decks, memos, data rooms, and FAQs.
- Manage Investor Pipeline and CRM: Maintain a dynamic pipeline of investors across SPVs, using tools like Airtable or Affinity to track progress, ensure timely follow-ups, and report on fundraising status and momentum to internal stakeholders.
- Support Capital Close Process: Coordinate legal, compliance, and back-office steps in the capital closing process, including LP agreements, wiring logistics, and onboarding requirements.
- Represent Inversion with Credibility: Be a visible, trusted representative of Inversion to the capital markets, conveying the firm’s mission, track record, and long-term vision.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in investor relations, capital raising, or institutional sales—ideally within private equity, venture capital, or other traditional investment firms.
- Proven track record of raising capital from LPs and co-investors, with strong relationships across family offices, funds, and institutional investors.
- Strong understanding of SPV structures, capital calls, and investor communications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and can translate technical or complex investment theses into digestible, investor-aligned narratives.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with experience managing fundraising pipelines and CRM tools.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where speed, clarity, and follow-through are essential.
- A strong grasp of the blockchain and crypto ecosystem is preferred, or eagerness to learn.
- High integrity, professionalism, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical and business challenges.
- A passion for the intersection of blockchain technology and real-world business applications.
Compensation:
Inversion Capital offers a competitive compensation package, including base salary, discretionary bonus, carry, co-invest (“equity”), and token grants. The role provides significant potential for asymmetric upside, especially for individuals who are passionate about driving innovation in the blockchain and investment space.
