Job summary

Concentric Innovation, based in San Francisco, seeks a highly technical Director of Investment Technology to oversee modernization and scaling of its investment technology platform. You will lead the engineering team, manage databases, and drive automated workflows across model ingestion, portfolio construction, order generation, and post-trade analytics.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in investment technology or quantitative investing, proven leadership, and deep experience with trading

Qualifications

10+ years in investment technology or a related field.
Experience modernizing proprietary codebases, databases, automated workflows, and trading infrastructure.
Strong understanding of quantitative portfolio construction, trading workflows, and investment operations.

Responsibilities

Oversee modernization and scaling of Concentric’s investment technology platform.
Lead the engineering team and manage production databases, code quality, and CI/CD practices.
Collaborate with investment, trading, ops, and Pathstone stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable systems.
