Job summary

State Street Corporation’s Investment Management arm seeks a senior engineering and transformation leader to head the Investment Solutions Group Technology and Portfolio Management. This hands‑on, player‑coach role will set technology direction and own enterprise execution across the investment lifecycle, modernizing the platform to support fiduciary clients and institutional partners.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in asset management technology, front‑office engineering, portfolio management and trading platforms.
Deep knowledge of institutional portfolio‑management workflows across asset allocation and construction.
Proven record of leading complex global engineering organizations and delivering platform modernization.
Strong solution architecture capability, including API‑first design and cloud‑native engineering.
Experience reducing complexity and communicating with senior executives.

Responsibilities

Head ISG technology and Portfolio Management; deliver proprietary engineering capabilities.
Set architecture and product roadmap for portfolio management systems and order management systems.
Ensure order workflows meet investment guidelines, risk controls and approvals.
Oversee integration across portfolio construction, compliance, execution, and post‑trade platforms.
