Job summary

The Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC) seeks a strategic leader to head the International Trade team in Raleigh. You will liaise with federal partners, secure grant funding, and oversee program delivery to North Carolina exporters.

Responsibilities include developing market-entry strategies for small to mid-sized firms, managing contracts with overseas representatives, and supervising a team of trade professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, economics, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in international trade with export experience.
• 2+ years of direct reports leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the International Trade team and manage grant funding.
• Develop and implement strategies to expand NC exporters' markets.
• Oversee contracts with overseas representatives and budgets.
• Coordinate with federal partners and export promotion organizations.
• Supervise staff and ensure compliance with EDPNC policies.
