EDPNC in Raleigh, NC seeks a Senior leader to direct the International Trade team, providing export assistance and market-entry support for North Carolina businesses. You will liaise with government partners, manage budgets, and supervise a skilled team to deliver high-value services.

The role requires building strategic relationships with public and private sector partners, driving program outcomes, and ensuring grant compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of international trade experience with export sales, export assistance, or trade compliance.
• 2+ years of direct reports management preferred or demonstrated leadership readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organization’s International Trade team and export programs.
• Liaise with Federal partners to secure grant funding for export initiatives.
• Manage division budget, forecast, and grant compliance.
• Supervise staff including performance management and training.
• Coordinate with external partners and NC organizations to promote export services.
• Oversee contracts with overseas representatives and ensure high-value service.
