Job summary

Rippling is building a unified platform powering HR, IT, and Finance across the workforce. We lead a scalable engineering effort supporting ~1,000 engineers and ongoing roadmap expansion across the Observability, Internal Tools, and Application Frameworks domains.

The ideal candidate will unify efforts across Observability, Internal Tools and Frameworks, delivering a cohesive foundation with data-driven automation and developer-centric tooling.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in technical leadership/management roles.
• Experience building out framework and infrastructure solutions used by internal developers in a fast-paced DevOps environment.
• Experience leading teams who have built tooling, compute infrastructure and data infrastructure serving internal teams.
• Bonus points for experience in developer tooling and reliability.
• Proficient with our technology stack: Python, Django, Golang, React, MongoDB, Trino, Pinot, Kafka, Postgres, AWS.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical leader within the Engineering organization.
• Identify and advocate for high impact projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Transform ambiguous technical statements into actionable plans and execute with the team.
• Drive alignment on requirements involving complex internal development platforms and developer tools.
