Job summary

Rippling is seeking an experienced engineer to drive design, implementation, and evolution of core platform infrastructure across the HR product ecosystem. You will lead mission-critical projects, collaborating with engineers across the organization to scale capabilities, adopt shared services, and influence architectural decisions that shape multiple products.

We value candidates who have built systems at scale and can communicate complex concepts to product, design, and end users alike.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building core product infrastructure and distributed systems that directly support and empower product-facing engineering teams.
• You have seen and contributed to systems operating at a significant technical and organizational scale.
• Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a diverse audience, not just engineers but cross functional groups like product and design, and an amplitude of end users

Responsibilities

• Drive the design, implementation, and evolution of core platform infrastructure and shared services.
• Lead mission critical projects to build and scale core platform capabilities
• Work closely with engineers across the organization to adopt these components to evolve existing products and bring new products to market
• Influence architecture, technology selections, and trends of the whole company
• Build and grow your engineering skills in different challenging areas and solve hard technical problems
