About The Role:

A renowned and prestigious global architecture firm is looking for an innovative and strategic Director of Interiors to lead the interiors endeavours of the practice. This role presents a rare opportunity to redefine the firm’s approach to interior architecture, driving creativity, excellence, and innovation across a diverse and impactful portfolio.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong creative vision, capable of developing unique material and design solutions tailored to each project’s context.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the creative direction of all interior projects, driving innovation and maintaining the highest standards of design quality
  • Develop tailored interior solutions that respond thoughtfully to the unique context and character of each project
  • Cultivate and mentor a collaborative interiors team, fostering a culture of creativity, excellence, and professional growth
  • Strengthen and maintain client relationships, ensuring seamless alignment between design vision and project objectives
  • Define and implement financial strategies to support the interiors practice’s growth and long-term success
  • Oversee all aspects of FF&E, including concept development, budgeting, procurement, vendor coordination, and on-site execution

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in interior design, with a minimum of 5 years leading an interiors team or studio
  • A strong portfolio showcasing built projects that exemplify innovation and design excellence
  • Deep knowledge of materials, detailing, and craftsmanship, with a passion for pushing design boundaries
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities, with a talent for conveying design intent
  • Proven ability to lead projects from concept to completion, balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution
