Base pay range

$75,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

We are seeking a full-time, experienced Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a talented designer who is well-organized, creative, an excellent communicator, interested in working across multiple market sectors, and eager for professional growth and responsibility. Daily responsibilities include leading the interior design on larger projects and coordinating design efforts with Project Architects and clients. In Your Role, You Will:
  • Participate in the design process from conception to completion.
  • Lead interior design efforts on projects that require sophisticated design.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Architects to develop interior concepts that integrate with the exterior building envelope for a holistic design approach.
  • Develop multiple interior design schemes for review and discussion with Project Architects and clients.
  • Prepare client presentations showcasing selected interior spaces and finishes.
  • Produce construction drawings and specify interior finishes.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple aspects of projects, including communications with clients, design teams, and contractors.
  • Mentor team members and assist in project detailing and construction.
  • Guide and mentor less experienced designers in all aspects of professional development.
  • Review submittals and respond to RFIs during construction.
  • Conduct on-site observations through construction meetings and site visits.
  • Establish and maintain productive client relationships.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
  • 7+ years of relevant interior design experience.
  • Interior Design degree preferred but not required.
  • NCIDQ certification preferred but not required.
  • Experience in Revit and proficiency in Bluebeam preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple Project Architects across several projects simultaneously.
