Job summary

S&P Global is seeking a seasoned architect to lead Enterprise Solutions Technology in New York. This hybrid role concentrates on architecture strategy, cloud-native platform evolution, and cross-functional leadership to deliver scalable, high-performance systems.

The candidate will drive architecture decisions, mentor teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to align technology with business priorities while leveraging AI/ML and data modeling concepts.

Qualifications

• 18+ years' experience in software development, computer engineering, or related fields with at least 6 years in architecture and design.
• Ability to work well in a team environment following Agile software development principles.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully multitask.
• High energy and a self-starter.
• Preference for experience with Microservices or distributed systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related fields.
• Expert on data management technologies (RDBMS, NoSQL).
• Experience with cloud technologies.

• Monitor and analyze system performance, making adjustments to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
