Job summary

Addepar, Inc. seeks a Director of Engineering for the Institutions Engineering Team in New York.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary group of engineers and drive delivery of investor solutions and research products, aligning engineering with product strategy. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of leadership, deep cloud-native and microservices experience, and a track record delivering enterprise platforms with strict security and uptime requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise software platforms with security, regulatory, and uptime requirements.
• Deep familiarity with cloud-native architecture, microservices, API design, data pipelines, and enterprise security.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering organization dedicated to the Institutional segment.
• Establish engineering goals, metrics, and delivery standards aligned with company objectives.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and GTM to define and execute roadmaps.
• Drive technical vision and delivery across all Institutional products and solutions.
• Champion best practices including automated testing, CI/CD, and observability.
