Job summary

Addepar in New York seeks a Director of Engineering for the Institutions Engineering Team to lead and scale investor solutions and research product suites, owning technology delivery across institutional offerings.

You will guide a multidisciplinary team of engineers and managers, set goals and standards, collaborate with product and design leadership, and drive a strategic technical vision with security and compliance at the forefront.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering leadership experience with a track record of managing managers, architects, and software engineers.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise/institutional software platforms with stringent security, regulatory, and uptime requirements.
• Deep familiarity with modern cloud architecture, microservices, API design, data pipelines, and enterprise security frameworks.
• 5+ years experience with financial risk frameworks and asset management in either a SaaS environment or financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering organization dedicated to the Institutional segment.
• Establish clear engineering goals, operational metrics, and delivery standards aligned with company objectives and create a high-performing engineering culture.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product and Design leadership to drive Addepar strategy across all of our engineering organizations.
• Drive the technical vision, co-ordination and delivery across all products and solutions within our Institutional segment.
