Job summary

FM in Norwood, MA is seeking a Head of Innovation to transform bold ideas into value for clients. You will lead a team of 8–10 direct reports and oversee a portfolio of multi-year initiatives, working closely with senior executives to shape strategy, investments, and partnerships.

This role focuses on identifying ventures, M&A opportunities, and implementing new products. You will ensure governance, measure progress, and align innovation efforts with FM's risk-management mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• MBA or master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience leading teams.
• Experience in Innovation, M&A/Investments/Ventures, or strategic planning.
• Strong business acumen in the commercial property insurance space.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Innovation team of 8–10 direct reports and 4–6 indirect reports.
• Manage the portfolio of innovation projects and assess venture opportunities.
• Develop innovation metrics and reports for leadership.
• Coordinate communications and public relations for internal and external audiences.
• Serve as the Innovation Expert for enterprise programs.
• Ensure vendor/partner engagements comply with FM policies.
