Shield AI seeks an Infrastructure Manager to guide the team responsible for enterprise systems, compute, storage, and data centers across offices, labs, manufacturing facilities, and hybrid environments. The role ensures reliable, secure, scalable infrastructure as the company grows.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with broad infrastructure judgment and a track record of delivering resilient services, partnering with Cloud Platform, Network, Cybersecurity, Facilities, and engineering

Qualifications

• Experience leading infrastructure engineers or administrators.
• Broad experience in compute, virtualization, storage and DR.
• Strong in HA, capacity planning, patching and lifecycle management.
• Experience with data centers, colocation, or distributed infra at scale.
• Led modernization, automation, migrations, and recovery testing.
• Able to manage production ops, incidents, changes, and debt.
• Excellent cross-functional partnership with Facilities, Network, Cloud, and Security.
• Clear written and verbal communication for executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a distributed team of infrastructure engineers and sysadmins.
• Own capacity planning, hiring priorities, workload balance, and leadership development.
• Own infrastructure strategy, roadmaps, standards, and service portfolio.
• Oversee compute, virtualization, storage, backup, DR, Windows and Linux servers.
• Provide management for Teamcenter and other engineering platforms with vendors.
• Drive modernization, automation, standardization, lifecycle management, observability.
• Set priorities, plans, SLAs, capacity forecasts, and lifecycle plans aligned with growth.
• Ensure availability, performance, security, compliance, and recoverability of services.
• Lead incidents, root-cause analysis, changes, patching, and on-call readiness.
