Shield AI is seeking an Infrastructure Manager to lead a distributed team responsible for enterprise systems and physical infrastructure across on‑prem, colocation, edge, lab, and hybrid environments. You will partner with Cloud Platform, Network, Cybersecurity, Facilities, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure that supports manufacturing, offices, and data centers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise infrastructure or systems engineering.
• 4+ years leading infrastructure engineers or admins.
• Experience designing and operating enterprise compute, storage, and server environments.
• Knowledge of HA, capacity planning, performance management, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with data centers, colocation, or distributed infrastructure at scale.
• Leadership in modernization, automation, migrations, and recovery testing.
• Strong collaboration with Facilities, Network, Cloud, Cybersecurity, and stakeholders.
• Clear communication to executives and technically diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a distributed team of infrastructure engineers and admins.
• Own capacity planning, hiring priorities, workload balancing, and leadership development.
• Define Infrastructure strategy, roadmap, and service portfolio across on‑prem, colocation, edge, lab, and hybrid environments.
• Oversee compute, virtualization, storage, backup, DR, Windows and Linux servers, and core services.
• Manage infrastructure supporting PLM platforms (e.g., Teamcenter) and reliability with vendors.
• Drive modernization, automation, standardization, observability, and reduction of toil.
• Set priorities, plans, and measurable outcomes aligned with product and company growth.
• Ensure availability, performance, security, compliance, recoverability, and supportability.
