Overview

We are seeking a Head of Infrastructure Engineering to lead the vision, design, and operation of enterprise-scale infrastructure. This strategic leadership role encompasses cloud operations, network engineering, data center management, site reliability, and NOC development. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of technical expertise, operational excellence, and people leadership, with a mission to deliver highly available, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure at scale.

Purpose & Mission

The mission of this role is to ensure the company is consistently delivering infrastructure that is reliable, performant, secure, and scalable—supporting business needs while enabling innovation and operational agility.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute a 3–5-year infrastructure roadmap that aligns with business objectives.
• Provide hands-on leadership across Cloud Operations, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Network Operations.
• Lead adoption of emerging technologies (e.g., AI-driven automation, GitOps, zero-trust networking).
• Build a world-class Network Operations Center (NOC) to centralize monitoring and incident response.
• Recruit, retain, and mentor top engineering talent across cloud, infrastructure, and NOC functions.
• Establish a 24/7 NOC team and define SOPs, escalation paths, and resolution frameworks.
• Foster a high-performance culture centered on ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Operational Excellence

• Oversee the architecture and management of a hybrid, multi-cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem).
• Implement business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) strategies with regular testing.
• Optimize vendor contracts, balancing performance with cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with InfoSec to ensure operational security and compliance with standards such as PCI, SOC 2, and HIPAA.
• Implement infrastructure automation using IaC, configuration management, and observability tooling.
• Drive continuous improvement through self-healing systems and predictive monitoring.
• Transition legacy operations into modern SRE practices and frameworks.

• Skilled in observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, OTEL, Datadog, Netdata) and SLI/SLO design.
• Experienced in managing high-performance data centers, carrier-grade networking, and vendor ecosystems.
• Track record of working with compliance, GRC, and cross-functional stakeholder groups.
