Manager – SAP Infra Architecture & Engineering

Overview

This role focuses on SAP & HANA databases, Azure SAP infrastructure & architecture (HA/DR & Resiliency, SAP integrations & connectivity, externalizations & SSO, SAP cloud apps). The manager will lead the roadmap for PGT, PIRT, and legacy SAP systems supporting PepsiCo's enterprise initiatives across multiple regions and data centers, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain the stability of SAP infrastructure for PGT, PIRT, and legacy SAP, emphasizing scalability, high availability, security, and performance.
• Design and engineer full-stack SAP infrastructure solutions, including Azure and data center components, operating systems, storage, backup, recovery, HANA databases, and SAP Basis.
• Lead the design and enhancement of Azure-based SAP infrastructure, supporting global rollout and growth.
• Deliver SAP infrastructure services to facilitate programs and migrations, ensuring they are on-time and within budget.
• Support the migration of SAP systems from data centers to Azure, aligning with global strategies and sector-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to drive efficiency and quality in SAP infrastructure management.
• Document operational procedures and automate build and operational processes.
• Provide critical support for SAP infrastructure and technology initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technology or engineering.
• Minimum 14 years of IT & Cloud experience, including 8+ years with SAP, HANA DB, and Azure.
• Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional and multicultural teams.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $106,400 - $178,100, depending on experience and location.
• Performance bonus: 12% annual payout.
• Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, disability, retirement, and paid leave.
