About the role and why it’s unique:

• Establish best practices to achieve operational excellence in infrastructure security, availability, resiliency, sustainability and adoption.

Who you are:

• You have at least 8 years of experience in Infrastructure, site reliability engineering, and/or developer tools teams, and 3 years managing the teams.
• Experienced in building secure, highly available AWS infrastructure and familiar with on-prem Data Center infrastructure operations/setup.
• Highly focused on delivering results for internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• High level of ownership, bias for action, and a desire to empower individuals on the team to perform at their best.
• Strong familiarity with distributed computing, networks, databases, caches, data streaming technologies in cloud environments, with hands-on experience in provisioning infrastructure and managing infrastructure via IaC tools (i.e. Terraform, CDK, Pulumi, CloudFormation, etc).
• Track record of delivering scalable and innovative solutions, leveraging cutting-edge technologies for observability, incident-response, cloud and infrastructure management.

Even better if you have:

• Experience working with data scientists to deploy complex ML models to public cloud and build low latency inference systems to a production environment.
• Experience leading a team in a remote-first and fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in highly regulated industries.
