Role:

We are hiring a Head of Infrastructure in Engineering, Product & Data (EPD), reporting to our Sr. Director of Engineering. This leader will own the foundation every Function product runs on: Site Reliability Engineering and the infrastructure platform, including databases, compute, containers, networking, and cross‑service and VPC communication, across Function Health, Ezra, Suppco, and Getlabs.

Function is moving from a single‑market product into its next stage of growth, including international expansion. This role will design the long‑term infrastructure architecture to support that: multi‑region deployment, data residency, latency, and compliance boundaries. You will also set the reliability and cost standards (SLOs, on‑call, incident response) that let us scale confidently as the member base and the number of businesses on the platform grow.

This is a hands‑on leadership role, not a pure people-management seat. You will lead the Infrastructure team while staying close enough to the technology to evaluate tradeoffs across infrastructure and deployment yourself.
