Job summary

amika in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an AVP of influencer, communications + cultural strategy to architect and lead its influence ecosystem spanning creators, VIPs, stylists, professionals, media, and cultural voices to drive brand equity and measurable business impact.

You will define and scale an insight-led strategy connecting earned media, storytelling, paid influencer programming, partnerships, events, and market execution into one engine, building and mentoring a six-person team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience leading influencer, communications, PR, advocacy, social, or integrated brand marketing functions.
• Proven track record building multi-market influencer, earned media, communications, or advocacy strategies.
• Deep fluency in the creator economy, including paid and organic partnerships and platform nuances.
• Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Experience developing and executing large-scale influencer events and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead amika's influence ecosystem across organic advocacy, earned media, brand storytelling, and paid influencer programming.
• Define the annual communications, influencer, and advocacy roadmap aligned to priorities, launches, and market needs.
• Lead strategy development for creator collaborations, VIPs, stylists, media, and cultural initiatives to drive awareness and business impact.
• Oversee budgets, agency partners, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure strategic output and brand consistency.
