Job summary

amika, a Brooklyn-born haircare brand, seeks an influencer community coordinator to support the influencer team and grow our creator and consumer community across TYB, brand ambassador programs, and creator seeding.

Reporting to the influencer and partnerships manager, you will manage programs, outreach, events, mailers, and KPI tracking while collaborating with social media, brand marketing, and ecomm teams. Brooklyn, NY-based with US work authorization required.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in influencer marketing (beauty or hair preferred)
  • BA/BA in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field preferred
  • Familiar with Tribe Dynamics, CreatorIQ, TYB and similar tools
  • Genuine enthusiasm and knowledge of the beauty industry and influencer marketing landscape
  • Thrives in dynamic, high-energy environments that evolve constantly
  • Proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn and contribute
  • Detail-focused with ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Fast learner and able to work independently or in a team

Responsibilities

  • Manage brand ambassador program on TYB including opt-in campaigns, affiliate payments, onboarding, contracts, gifting, and product replenishment
  • Oversee ambassador scale to ensure MoM and YoY growth with high retention; convert top BAs to paid partners when relevant
  • Support relationship-building across the influencer community including events and creator shoots
  • Identify and nurture relationships with new creators via always-on seeding
  • Assist with daily outreach and timely communication with influencers
  • Assist with mailers for campaigns, including design submissions, building lists, shipping and tracking results
  • Admin support including product sendouts, closet management, and invoice submission
  • Assist with monthly reporting and KPI tracking
  • Monitor influencer activations and trends to connect to brand strategy
  • Collaborate with social media, paid media, brand marketing, ecomm, and creative teams

the job:

as amika's influencer community coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the influencer team in community growth inclusive of our brand ambassador program, TYB community, creator seeding, list building, mailing calendar support, relationship building + more. reporting to our influencer + partnerships manager, this is a dynamic, hands-on role centered on building + nurturing our creator + consumer community, ideal for someone who is passionate about turning creators into long-term brand advocates.


salary: $70,000 + bonus


location: Brooklyn, NY (must be based in New York + have the right to work in the US)


what you'll do:


  • manage brand ambassador program on TYB including opt-in campaign management, affiliate payments, onboarding, contracts, gifting + product replenishment

  • oversee brand ambassador scale, ensuring program is growing MoM + YoY with high retention rates; convert best in class BAs to long term paid partners when relevant

  • support relationship building initiatives across greater influencer community inclusive of surprise + delight moments, regional events + community shoots

  • identify, outreach + nurture relationships with net new up-and-coming creators via always-on seeding

  • assist with daily outreach + communication with influencers to ensure timely responses across platforms

  • assist with brainstorming, managing + executing mailers for various amika campaigns, including support with managing design submissions, building targeted influencer lists, shipping + tracking results

  • admin support including product sendouts for influencers + VIPs, product closet management, order fulfillment + invoice submission

  • assist with monthly reporting and KPI tracking

  • continuously monitor + report on best-in-class influencer activations, trends, mailers, events + more, identifying how they can connect to overall amika brand strategies

  • collaborate cross-functionally with social media, paid media, brand marketing, ecomm + creative teams to fuel departmental needs


must haves:


  • 1+ year of experience in influencer marketing (preferably in beauty or hair)

  • BA/BA in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field preferred

  • strong familiarity with Tribe Dynamics, CreatorIQ, TYB + similar tools

  • genuine enthusiasm and knowledge of the beauty industry + influencer marketing landscape

  • thrives in dynamic, high-energy environments that are constantly evolving
