Job summary

Syneos Health in New York seeks a Director, Epidemiology Pipeline (TA-Immunology) to lead scientific oversight of immunology trials and advise on study design and analytical plans. You will collaborate with RWLP management, clinical teams, and sponsors to translate epidemiologic data into actionable strategies for product development and post-marketing safety commitments.

Qualifications

• Requires SME in Immunology Clinical Trials.
• Graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health is required (Masters preferred Doctorate).
• Experience with a variety of study designs; familiarity with post-marketing and late phase designs desired.
• Basic knowledge of SAS, R, or Python.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; strong leadership and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides scientific oversight of selected projects and ensures timelines, budgets, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Collaborates with RWLP management, business development, and operations to develop and win global opportunities; leads study proposals and capability presentations.
• Oversees development of essential study documents (protocols, CRFs, SAPs) and supports safety studies and publications.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of guidelines and epidemiologic practices; develops trainings for RWLP to improve study design literacy.
• Contributes to organizational capacity building and process improvements for non-traditional site management and RWLP SOPs.
• Develops relationships with sponsors and thought-leaders; leads abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts to promote company services.
