Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis seeks a senior leader to guide the School of Medicine simulation and standardized patient programs.

You will manage the Farrell Learning and Teaching Center’s simulation resources, lead QA processes, and coordinate curricula with medical directors and faculty across learners and CME activities. You will oversee staff, budgets, vendor relationships, and the ongoing modernization of simulation facilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• RN licensure in IL and MO is required.
• No explicit prior experience required for this position.
• Strong leadership and operations management skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide QA leadership to ensure simulation programs meet quality standards and data accuracy.
• Oversee Wood Simulation Center and Standardized Patient Center operations and strategic planning.
• Supervise SP staff, educators, technicians and interns; recruit and develop staff.
• Manage budgets, contracts with vendors, and equipment replacements.
• Support simulator and learning management system operations and provide back-up coverage.
• Collaborate on instructional design and curriculum development for simulation training.
