Job summary

Safran is seeking a Director of IFE Hardware Products to lead the full lifecycle of our IFE hardware portfolio from concept to retirement. You will set the vision, drive the roadmap, and ensure cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Certification, Production, Sales, and Program Management.

You will translate business priorities into actionable product directions, oversee design and feature definition, and maintain executive relationships to ensure the roadmap reflects evolving customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in product roles.
• 7+ years in management or leadership.
• Extensive product management or IFE hardware experience.
• Strategic planning, portfolio management, lifecycle ownership.
• Strong technical foundation in IFE systems and hardware.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the long-term vision and strategy for the IFE hardware portfolio.
• Champion and communicate the product roadmap across the organization and with executive leadership.
• Translate strategic goals into product direction and priorities for teams.
• Partner with executives to set business priorities based on market trends and financial impact.
• Oversee design, feature definition, and lifecycle from concept through retirement.
• Align cross-functional leaders to execute the product vision effectively.
• Maintain executive relationships to reflect evolving customer needs in the roadmap.
• Incorporate customer, operational, and market feedback into products and future plans.
• Set performance goals, capacity planning, and budget allocations.
• Collaborate with Strategy, Sales and leadership to shape portfolio direction.
