Job summary

Safran seeks a Principal Product Manager, Hardware Products to maximize value across the hardware in-flight portfolio and coordinate with internal teams and airline partners to define top priorities. You will own lifecycle planning, roadmaps, and align stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge IFE solutions.

The role requires leadership across engineering, operations, and commercial teams, plus a strong background in aerospace or IFE with proven product launches and a strategic mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering or equivalent; MBA preferred.
• 15+ years in Product or Program Management.
• Experience in In-flight Entertainment or Aerospace is a strong plus.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Senior level experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Product Education such as Pragmatic Institute certification is a plus.
• Demonstrated launch and success of influential products.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle management for hardware in-flight entertainment products from ideation through launch and post-launch review.
• Establish and own a shared product vision across the organization by aligning priorities and roadmaps.
• Translate business, airline, market, and customer needs into clear product requirements.
• Drive product development with engineering, design, operations, commercial teams.
• Develop and maintain short- and long-term roadmaps and communicate priorities to stakeholders.
• Own product obsolescence management and lifecycle planning with cross-functional coordination.
• Incorporate user research, market analysis, and competitive insights into requirements.
• Define, track, and analyze product success metrics, including adoption and financial impact.
• Present strategy and roadmap updates to executive stakeholders.
