Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
• Qualified by SACS-COC to teach in Education/Foreign Language/History/Philosophy/Psychology/Political Science/Anthropology/Geography.
• Four years of related full-time post-secondary teaching or administrative experience.
• Background checks including FDLE required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage day-to-day operations of the department.
• Supervise all programs offered by the department and hire adjunct faculty.
• Develop course schedules and assign faculty to courses.
• Advise students and oversee curricula review and updates.
• Hire, supervise, and evaluate departmental faculty and staff; manage department budget.
