Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a Head of Human Resources for US Operations to lead payroll, recruiting, compensation, and benefits strategies across the United States.

The role also drives EEO compliance, HRIS planning, mobility and relocation, and separation/termination processes. Successful candidates will bring a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations or HR, 15+ years in world-class shared services, SAP experience, and a proven ability to set strategy and manage change while delivering

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Relations, HR or related discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in the design, development and implementation of world class shared services systems.
• Experience in an SAP environment and establishing and improving an HR shared services model.
• Demonstrated capability for setting strategy and leading a change management effort along with experience in continuous improvement and technology upgrades and implementation.

• Payroll—Oversees all areas of US payroll processing.
• Recruiting—Oversees all US-wide recruiting strategies.
• Compensation—Oversees internal & external compensation offers, analysis for union negotiations, salary survey participation, administering global and local bonus plans.
• Benefits—Oversees benefits issues delivered via vendors, government reporting, ERISA committee appeals, and union negotiation analysis.
• EEO / Diversity—Functions as US EEO Officer.
• HRIS—Provides input into the HRIS global strategy and training materials development.
• Mobility / Domestic Relocation—Oversees US international mobility and domestic relocation activities, including input into global mobility strategy.
• Separation / Termination—Oversees turnover metrics analysis, exit interviews, unemployment vendor management and state appeal processes.
