Job summary

BlackLine seeks a Senior Director, HR Technology to lead the HR IT operations, ensuring stability and security of Workday and related HR systems. You will define an AI-driven HR strategy and build automation that moves HR toward an AI-centric operating model.

You will mentor managers, own the HR tech roadmap, govern data/privacy, and collaborate with HR Operations, the People Team, and enterprise IT to deliver scalable HR technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading HR Information Technology or HRIS operations.
• Hands-on Workday experience, including HCM and payroll modules.
• Strong understanding of hire-to-retire HR processes and related tech support.
• Experience building and leading AI strategies for HR.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and IT budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the HR IT team and align IT services with HR needs.
• Stabilize Workday post go-live and drive adoption and optimization.
• Mentor HR IT managers and offshore staff, fostering a service-oriented culture.
• Define and lead the HR AI strategy and build AI agents/automation for HR processes.
• Develop an AI-centric HR technology roadmap with ROI justifications.
• Partner with HR Ops, People Team, and enterprise IT/AI to identify use cases and governance.
