Life.Church is seeking a Central Team Leader of Human Resources to direct performance, compliance, compensation, and retention strategies. This role partners with Life.Church and YouVersion stakeholders to align HR initiatives with organizational culture and ministry goals, while ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required or preferred.
• SHRM SCP/CP or PHR/SPHR certification is preferred.
• 7+ years of HR or People Operations experience.
• Experience with retention strategies, compensation, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Central Group Leader to shape leadership vision and strategic direction for HR and Staff Operations.
• Provide consistent leadership to direct reports through coaching and clear expectations.
• Develop growth plans for team members and track progress toward goals.
• Analyze workforce trends to inform recruitment, total rewards, and staffing strategies.
• Establish and report KPIs for retention, turnover, promotions, and action trends.
• Present retention insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Lead training and development for managers on performance, compensation, and HR policies.
• Lead compensation strategy and total rewards to attract and retain top talent.
• Oversee performance review cycles and onboarding processes for consistency and feedback quality.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Legal, Benefits, Recruitment for alignment and compliance.
• Evolve employer value proposition in partnership with Benefits and Recruitment.
• Oversee visa sponsorships, EOR arrangements, and internship compliance.
• Audit HR processes for accuracy, leave administration, and payroll practices.
• Design targeted retention strategies for campuses or departments.
