Job summary

ARCO Companies is seeking a strategic Director of HR Operations to serve as the operational backbone of HR across the organization. You will own HR service delivery, HRIS governance, data integrity, and compliance programs while partnering with IT, Finance, Legal, and executive leadership.

You will lead a high-performing Shared Services team, develop scalable processes, and drive initiatives that improve efficiency, service quality, and associate experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, information systems, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent senior HR certification preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Minimum 4 years of leadership experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, HR Technology, or related functions.
• Experience as business owner for enterprise HRIS platforms such as Workday, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP Workforce Now, Dayforce, or similar systems.
• Experience managing HR service delivery models, shared services, case management systems, and SLAs.
• Strong understanding of HR technology, data governance, reporting, and analytics.
• Ability to build partnerships with executive leaders, IT, Finance, Legal, and operations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR service delivery and shared services to ensure timely, accurate HR support.
• Oversee HRIS governance, system implementation, and vendor relationships.
• Establish SLAs, drive continuous improvement, and enhance self-service resources.
• Own workforce data governance, reporting, dashboards, and analytics.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with IT, Finance, Legal, and HR partners.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
