PACS is seeking a General Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations within a long-term care facility. The role requires supervising staff, scheduling, and ensuring safety and cleanliness in offices, residences, and outdoor areas.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related supervisory experience, with preference for experience in long-term care. Fluent English is required; responsibilities include training, budgeting, and ensuring

• Requires supervisory and scheduling experience in a team environment.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Experience in long-term care facilities is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises housekeeping staff and coordinates staffing schedules for offices, public areas, residences, and grounds.
• Plans and schedules cleaning programs including annuals, move-in preparations, and carpet cleaning.
• Monitors inventory, orders supplies, and ensures safe handling of materials.
• Conducts staff training sessions and department meetings for housekeeping personnel.
• Ensures staff are trained on safe handling of cleaning chemicals and compliance with safety standards.
• Assists with on-site cleaning duties and budget monitoring where needed.
• Prepares resident charges/billing for housekeeping services when applicable.
• Promotes a safe working environment and protects equipment.
