Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for a Skilled Nursing & Post-Acute Care setting. You will lead a housekeeping team, coordinate schedules, and uphold high standards of cleanliness and resident safety across the facility.

Responsibilities include inspections, deep cleaning planning, inventory management, and staff training, with a focus on regulatory requirements and excellent resident relations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of related housekeeping experience and/or training.
• Previous supervisory and scheduling experience required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, healthcare, or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping staff and coordinate schedules to ensure coverage.
• Inspect rooms and common areas to maintain cleanliness.
• Plan and coordinate routine cleaning programs including deep cleaning and move-ins.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Ensure safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Train staff on procedures, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with daily housekeeping duties as needed.
• Coordinate department meetings and trainings to promote teamwork.
• Monitor expenses and assist with budget management.
• Prepare resident charges for housekeeping services when applicable.
• Maintain a safe working environment and uphold safety practices.
• Respond professionally to concerns and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
