Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of healthcare facilities operations and regulations.
• Experience leading facilities teams in complex healthcare environments.
• Strong financial acumen with operating and capital budgets.
• Proven project management for large-scale capital projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• CMMS, BAS, EMS, and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to drive change and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for facilities, engineering, maintenance, and plant operations services.
• Oversee facilities staff, supervisors, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop and administer departmental operating and capital budgets; monitor cost centers and financial performance.
• Direct preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to ensure reliability of building systems and infrastructure.
• Lead capital planning, infrastructure renewal, renovation, and construction projects from planning through completion.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and accreditation requirements including The Joint Commission, CMS, NFPA, OSHA, and EPA standards.
• Oversee Environment of Care (EOC), Life Safety, utility management, and emergency preparedness programs.
• Provide leadership for critical utility systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, emergency power, medical gas, plumbing, water management, and BAS.
• Drive energy management, sustainability, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Establish departmental goals, performance metrics, policies, and continuous improvement programs.
• Collaborate with organizational leadership to support strategic growth, facility master planning, and operational priorities.
• Serve as the hospital's subject matter expert on facilities infrastructure and regulatory readiness.
