Qualifikationen

• 8–10 years of ops experience in hard goods or hardware products.
• Ownership of end-to-end hard goods ops: contract manufacturing, assembly, and 3PL/logistics.
• Strong track record running an S&OP/demand-supply planning process.
• Experience managing third-party vendors/partners as the primary operating model.

Aufgaben

• Own relationships with contract manufacturers and ensure parts procurement aligns with forecasted demand.
• Build and own the S&OP process across demand signals, production planning, and inventory positioning.
• Anticipate supply risks and implement mitigations before shipping impact.
• Develop long-term sourcing strategy with dual-sourcing, regional diversification, and cost-down roadmaps.
• Manage assembly partners to ensure inbound inventory is checked in and built to spec.
• Own software provisioning at unit level with correct configurations and serialization.
• Maintain system-of-record tying units to customer deployments and serial numbers.
• Drive quality gates and verification checkpoints at assembly to catch defects.
• Oversee handoff to 3PL and ensure inventory visibility across product lines.
• Negotiate freight costs and SLAs with logistics providers.
• Maintain landed cost of every hard good from parts to delivery.
