Job summary

UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a Division Chief of Gynecologic Oncology to lead the division, comprising four gynecologic oncologists and one advanced practice clinician, directing clinical practice and initiatives in education and research.

The role requires board certification/eligibility in OB/GYN Gynecologic Oncology, completion of a gynecologic oncology fellowship, and Massachusetts medical licensure eligibility, with a focus on leadership, recruitment, and program expansion.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible by the ABOG in OB/GYN/Gynecologic Oncology.
• Fellowship training in gynecologic oncology.
• Academic/research details in gynecologic oncology.
• Must hold an MD or DO degree, completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency, and an approved fellowship in gynecologic oncology. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) in OB/GYN and the subspecialty of Gynecologic Oncology or DO degree and qualify for a Massachusetts license.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Division of Gynecologic Oncology, leading four gynecologic oncologists and one nurse practitioner.
• Direct patient care duties and participate in clinical practice.
• Lead quality, education, and research initiatives within the division.
• Develop faculty and maintain recruitment.
• Collaborate with other departments (radiation oncology, genetics, palliative care, plastic surgery) to deliver multidisciplinary cancer care.
