Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a board-certified or eligible Gynecologic Oncologist to lead the division within the Gynecology & Obstetrics department in Worcester, MA. The role involves directing a team of four gynecologic oncologists and one advanced practice clinician, guiding clinical practice, education, quality and research initiatives, and recruiting efforts.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible by ABOG in OB/GYN/Gynecologic Oncology.
• Fellowship training in gynecologic oncology.
• Academic/research experience in gynecologic oncology.
• Must hold a MD/DO degree, completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency, and an approved fellowship in gynecologic oncology; ABOG board certification/eligibility; MA license eligibility.
• Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in medicine.

Responsibilities

• Head the division of Gynecologic Oncology.
• Direct four gynecologic oncologists and one nurse practitioner.
• Lead clinical practice, quality, education and research initiatives.
• Develop faculty and recruitment to support division growth.
• Collaborate with department chair to ensure financial stability and expansion of cancer care.
• Advance multidisciplinary cancer care in Central Massachusetts and beyond.
