Job summary

The Paley Center for Media is seeking a Director of Guest Services & Hospitality to oversee the Guest Services department in New York and Los Angeles, ensuring outstanding guest experiences across programs, events, and library operations.

The role requires 10–15 years in service leadership, exceptional communication, and hands-on leadership in a live-events environment. In-person work across two iconic locations with a focus on safety, ADA compliance, and guest engagement.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience leading a service-oriented team in a theater, arts center, hotel, or similar environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high customer-service bar.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, live-events setting and able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Guest Services in NY and LA to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Grow and develop the Guest Services team, including managers, part-time staff, and volunteers.
• Manage box office operations, ticketing, and front desk functions for all Paley programs and events.
