Job summary

Westgate Resorts is seeking a Group Sales Director to lead strategy, development, and performance for our River Ranch Resort & Rodeo group sales initiatives.

The role focuses on achieving room night, event, F&B, and total group revenue by targeting corporate, association, government, incentive, SMERF, wedding, and experiential groups. Strong leadership and negotiation skills are essential for driving growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales Management, Tourism, Event Management, or related field is preferred.
• Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Certified Hospitality Sales Professional (CHSP), CDME, or similar certification is preferred.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute group sales strategies aligned with revenue and profitability objectives.
• Identify, prospect, negotiate, and close new group business across corporate meetings, association conferences, government groups, destination events.
• Drive pipeline, lead generation, booking pace, and revenue forecasting accuracy.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management and Resort Leadership on pricing, inventory, concessions, and yield management.
• Represent the resort at trade shows and industry events; build relationships with planners, agencies, and partners.
