Job summary

Commonwealth Lodging Management seeks a Director of Sales and Marketing for the Courtyard by Marriott Oxford, MS. You will lead the hotel’s sales and marketing programs, develop new business, manage rate/inventory, and supervise the sales team to maximize profitability while ensuring guest and associate satisfaction.

Role requires strong English communication, leadership, and an ability to collaborate with Food & Beverage, Rooms, and franchise partners. This on-site role is based in Oxford, MS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hotel management experience.
• Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office required.
• Familiarity with hotel systems and yield management preferred.
• Excellent business writing and decision-making skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the hotel's overall sales and marketing efforts.
• Develop new business and nurture existing accounts.
• Oversee rate and inventory management and distribution.
• Supervise sales personnel and drive profitability while ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with departments and CVB for group and convention sales.
