Job summary

Cragun’s Legacy Courses, Minnesota’s premier resort golf destination, seeks an experienced Director of Agronomy to lead agronomic operations across 54 holes and advance long-term plans with the ownership group. You will oversee a dedicated team and partner with leadership on capital projects to maintain top-tier playing conditions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years combined experience as Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
• Strong track record delivering exceptional playing conditions at a high-quality facility.
• Budgeting, purchasing, inventory management & capital planning experience.
• Strong communication, organization, judgement and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to play the courses regularly to evaluate conditions from a golfer perspective.

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain daily conditioning standards for greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers and practice areas.
• Deliver championship-level playing surfaces across all zones.
• Lead a year-round and seasonal agronomy team, including recruitment and retention.
• Develop multi-year agronomic and course improvement plans.
• Partner with ownership, resort leadership and course architect on capital projects and future improvements.
• Prepare the property for major events and ensure guest experience aligns with brand standards.
