MongoDB is seeking a transformational leader to join our Technical Services team in Austin, leading regional teams of core and cloud Support Engineers. The role requires working in the Austin office 3+ days a week to ensure top-tier customer outcomes.

You will scale operations globally, own performance metrics, and drive cross-functional initiatives leveraging deep NoSQL/distributed systems expertise and AI/ML awareness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading technical support or customer-facing engineering teams.
• Proven track record in scaling operations and process improvements.
• Strong coaching skills and career development examples.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional teams of MongoDB core and cloud support engineers.
• Diagnose performance issues and advise on design/architecture.
• Collaborate globally to ensure seamless handovers of follow-the-sun issues.
• Develop and refine KPIs, tooling, and knowledge sharing.
• Build relationships with executives and guide customer roadmaps.
• Drive expansion with in-depth understanding of customer architectures.
