Job summary

The King's Trust is seeking a Head of Programme Development to lead the creation of high-quality, evidence-informed and scalable programme models for youth across diverse global contexts. You will guide a talented team, translating ambitious strategy into practical curricula, tools and guidance with a strong focus on inclusion, safeguarding and impact.

This permanent, part-time role is 21 hours per week, based in London with hybrid working and an expectation that at least 50% of contracted hours

Qualifications

• Experience turning strategy into practical, adaptable programme models.
• Strong evidence-informed and safeguarding-focused design.
• Ability to work across online and offline delivery with partners.
• Proven experience leading and developing multi-country teams.
• Commitment to putting young people at the centre and achieving impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Programme Development function with clear vision and quality standards.
• Oversee design, testing and improvement of inclusive youth programmes and curricula.
• Use data and learning to strengthen models and measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with Delivery, Impact, Digital, Safeguarding and Fundraising teams to create scalable propositions.
• Champion user-centred design, blended delivery and responsible use of digital tools.
• Build a high-performing team and manage resources, capacity and budgets.
