Job summary

Global Kids Inc. seeks a Programme Coordinator to develop and implement global education and youth development programs in New York.

The role involves leading curriculum development, co-facilitating interactive workshops, and collaborating with staff and youth to generate new ideas across contracted initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for youth development, experience with experiential learning, and a commitment to antiracist pedagogy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Knowledge of NYC social services for youth and families.
• Experience with experiential learning and youth development.
• Experience designing educational workshops.
• Commitment to diversity and antiracist pedagogy.
• Experience with NYC public schools is a plus.
• Knowledge of global issues and human rights.
• Excellent facilitation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum development and write lesson plans with global content.
• Coordinate and co-facilitate interactive workshops and activities.
• Collaborate with staff and youth to generate new program ideas.
• Develop content on global issues and 21st-century skills while supporting SEL.
• Assist in organizing and executing events and projects.
• Maintain program data and documentation.
