Job summary

Corning is seeking a Senior Manager of Programs to lead the Program Management capability within the Optical Connectivity Solutions Product Innovation group. You will oversee a team of Program Managers driving major innovations across OCS with high complexity and risk.

Travel up to 25% and location flexibility among Hickory, NC or Keller, TX locations. Strong leadership, coordination with multiple stakeholders, and a track record of delivering programs on time are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of management experience with direct reports in a complex environment.
• 10+ years in Product Development and related domains.
• 4+ years of demonstrated communication and influencing skills at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage the team of Program Managers leading major innovations within OCS.
• Define value proposition and hypotheses at program start; establish global program structures.
• Collaborate with product, business teams, and engineering to provide direction to Program Managers.
• Secure resources and ensure successful delivery of programs within budget and timelines.
• Develop comprehensive program plans and monitor adherence to master schedules.
