Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Director of Software Development to lead a team across North America and Europe, building systems for cooling, power, telemetry and monitoring, and operational visibility across AWS data centers.

You will conceptualize new software systems, evolve existing services, and deliver results through software development teams, while partnering with leaders across the data center ecosystem to align on strategic direction.

Qualifications

10+ years of software development experience.
10+ years in senior engineering leadership roles.
10+ years experience driving long-term engineering and product decisions.
Track record of delivering innovative cloud-based applications.
Proven ability to hire and develop an inclusive organization.
Experience scaling diverse, dynamic, fast-growing teams.

Responsibilities
