Job summary

Chainlink Labs is seeking an experienced Director of Events to lead our global events function and deliver world-class experiences that strengthen the Chainlink brand and accelerate business growth.

You will lead and develop a high-performing team, own the planning and delivery of SmartCon, and guide our presence at major conferences worldwide, while partnering with Marketing, Sales, Product, Finance, Legal, and Procurement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience leading large-scale events.
• 3+ years managing and developing high-performing event teams.
• Proven ability delivering flagship conferences and executive events.
• Experience with budgets, negotiations, and external agencies.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and mentor a global events team.
• Define and execute global event strategy aligned to business goals.
• Own planning and delivery of SmartCon and major conferences.
• Deliver executive experiences through customer events and launches.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, Finance, Legal, and Procurement.
• Establish scalable processes and governance for global events.
• Measure success with KPIs and feedback to improve.
