Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a senior strategic advisor for game quality assurance, focusing on presales, bespoke QA solutions, and end-to-end engagement leadership. You will guide automation strategies, onboarding, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful launch decisions for AAA and AA titles.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, forecast resourcing, and drive growth of the Game QA practice, while maintaining rigorous quality and compliance standards across PC, Console, and Mobile

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Game QA with 3+ years in formal leadership roles.
• Experience launching multiple AAA titles across PC, Console, or Mobile.
• Presales or consulting experience designing custom QA solutions and presenting to clients.
• Strong technical fluency in Unreal and Unity architectures, and experience with Perforce and Git.

Responsibilities

• Lead client pitches and draft Statements of Work for game studios.
• Own discovery and onboarding for new engagements, mapping workflows and automation needs.
• Advise studios on pipelines, automation, CI/CD integration, and risk management strategies.
• Forecast staffing, establish SLAs, and optimize delivery frameworks for QA teams.
• Present QA readiness metrics and compliance risks to executives to support launch decisions.
• Identify expansion opportunities and help grow the Game QA practice.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business development teams to lead high-stakes client pitches, architect bespoke QA technical solutions, and draft precise Statements of Work for prospective game studio partners

• Own the full discovery and onboarding phase for new client engagements, mapping engineering workflows, platform compliance needs, and automation requirements for seamless transition into active testing

• Act as a trusted strategic advisor to game studios, auditing development pipelines and implementing automation, CI/CD integration, and risk-management strategies across diverse title portfolios

• Forecast staffing models, establish SLAs, and optimize delivery frameworks for multi-disciplinary internal and external QA teams across AAA and AA engagements

• Present data-driven QA readiness metrics, automation coverage, and compliance risks directly to studio executives and senior client stakeholders to support confident launch decisions

• Identify business expansion opportunities within existing accounts and contribute to the long-term strategic direction and growth of the Game QA practice

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in Game QA with 3+ years in formal leadership roles, with a proven track record of successfully launching multiple AAA titles across PC, Console, or Mobile platforms

• Demonstrated presales or consulting experience, including designing custom QA solutions, presenting to external stakeholders, and closing high-value service agreements

• Strong technical fluency in Unreal and Unity engine architectures, version control systems including Perforce and Git, and engineering pipelines to credibly advise on automation frameworks

• Deep expertise in platform compliance requirements including PlayStation TRCs, Xbox TCRs, and Nintendo Lotcheck, with proven experience guiding clients through launch-readiness risks

• Strong commercial acumen in project estimation, resource budgeting, and translating client game designs into concrete QA operational plans and scalable delivery models

• Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to align technical and business stakeholders around quality strategy, risk management, and delivery outcomes
